This is a challenge. We agree that nature is there to be enjoyed and admired, but sometimes, it’s the challenge that prevails! We conquer some of the most amazing Croatian summits starting from the sea level (*ubacit link na ostale 1-day challenge), and we don’t stop to smell the roses or take selfies. The goal is to push your limits, keep your pace up, and forge ahead relentlessly.

Učka Nature Park rises above Kvarner Bay, with its highest peak Vojak standing tall at 1401 meters above sea level. It offers amazing panoramic views of the surroundings, stretching all the way to Velebit mountain, the Italian Alps, and even Venice on a clear day.

Going from 0 to 1401 meters in altitude means crossing diverse terrain, from forest trails and single tracks to steep rocky sections, even climbing some stairs to reach the highest point at the Tower of Vojak.

To celebrate a successful challenge, we can all gather for group dinner in a local restaurant.

Difficult | Edelweiss

Inspired by the rare alpine flower, this challenging route is for those who seek the extraordinary. Rugged and rewarding, it’s the path less traveled that leads to breathtaking summits.

For hikers with very good fitness, this ascent from sea level to Vojak delivers a true mountain challenge: you’ll conquer roughly 1,500 m of elevation gain. The lower half winds through cool, shaded beech and pine forests on well-graded trails, allowing you to find your rhythm. Abovethe tree line, however, the terrain opens onto exposed karst ridges where the sun is unfiltered and the wind can be strong.

While the trail is never technically difficult - no ropes or specialized gear are required - the final ridge walk demands sure footing on rocky paths and a steady pace.
