The “Northern Velebit National Park” is a breathtaking one-day journey through one of Croatia’s most stunning and renowned national parks.

This 15-kilometer hike begins at the Zavižan mountain hut and follows a section of the renowned Premužić trail, known for its panoramic views and diverse landscapes.

The route takes you to the charming Rossijeva Koliba mountain shelter, and back, through what’s considered one of the most scenic hiking areas in Croatia!

This entire hike follows a well-maintained hiking path and is technically easy. No previous experience is required, only the ability to stay on your feet for the duration of the walk and to be comfortable with rocky terrain. There are no sustained or major uphill sections to contend with.

We provide a picnic-style lunch, packed and ready to enjoy at a convenient spot.
Expect fresh ingredients that introduce local flavours: bread, regional cheeses and charcuterie, spreads, pastries, fruit and energy bites.
We cater to vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free diets and all allergies - just make a note at booking.

A dedicated meeting point & starting point of the hike is to be reached by your own transportation.
If you need any assistance getting to the meeting point, we can arrange a transfer for you at extra cost.

A: No, insurance is not included in the price of our tours. We strongly recommend that all participants take out their insurance in advance, covering things like medical assistance and outdoor activity-related coverage.
