Like the resilient Balkan herb, Rue represents balance. Expect a mix of effort and
reward, with steady climbs and immersive experiences that energize the body and soul.
The Coastal Explorer: Krk Island is an excellent example of a moderate hike: there are
no punishing ascents, but the 17 km distance calls for good endurance. You won’t find
exposed cliffs, yet a few stretches require hand-and-foot scrambling over rock ledges.
Because much of the path crosses uneven limestone and pebbled beach terrain, sure
footing and steady ankles are a must.
